About

Torval Mork is a creative professional with a diverse background in entrepreneurship, filmmaking, music, photography, and business leadership. With a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of British Columbia, his career has been defined by hands-on experience, venture capital endeavours, and executive leadership.

As president of Fathom Corp, Torval oversees projects and business operations, blending creativity with strategy to drive projects that no one could ever plan for, but that the team at Fathom thrive on.

He is also a part of a consulting team at Todamo Strategies where he serves as Director.

A multi-instrumentalist, Torval has written, performed, and produced several albums under the moniker Krom Labs, including It’s Them Again (2024) and It’s Not You, It’s Them (2017), available on Spotify, Apple Music, and other platforms. He has performed as a guitarist for many up-and-coming artists and played and performed as a solo act and in rock bands, bringing energy and collaboration to live music.

In filmmaking, Torval has served as a producer and executive on a variety of film and television projects. Starting as a production coordinator, then manager, on high-profile commercial productions, he herded all the cats for projects in the multi-million-dollar budget realm (including Friskies; cats were actually herded). He coordinated crews of up to 400 people and made sure all the film landed in whatever city it needed to land in, got developed, and allowed the team to move on and shoot the next day. His expertise spans budgeting, production logistics, and creative development, providing a strong foundation for both independent and commercial projects.

Photography and visual art are also central to Torval’s portfolio. His work is featured on Adobe Stock, Getty Images, and Shutterstock, and his pieces are displayed in corporate and private collections world wide.

He has also published a book, Pee Standing Up, which tells the story of how everything mentioned above came together over the years.

Based in Calgary with his wife, Jennifer, and their son, Isaac, Torval continues to explore opportunities that reflect his passion for storytelling, artistic exploration, and leadership across multiple industries.
